These terms and conditions (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Envision Registry (“we”, “us”) governing your use of this website (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service — including as a guest viewing or claiming a gift — you accept these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your password confidential, and be responsible for activity that occurs through your account.
You own the content you add to your registry, including photos, personal messages, and gift details. You give us permission to display that content on your public registry page and to store it for that purpose.
You’re responsible for making sure you have the rights to use what you upload — for example, permission from your photographer before posting their photos.
Envision Registry lets Users build a gift list and share it with guests through a public link. When you add a product by its retailer link, we automatically pull in publicly available details like the product name, price, and image. Because that information comes from the retailer’s page, it can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong — please review auto-filled details before sharing your registry.
We do not process payments. No purchases happen through the Service; gifts are always bought directly from the retailer.
Guests claim a gift to indicate they intend to purchase it. When claiming, guests receive a claim code; together with the email used at claim time, that code authorizes changes to or removal of the claim. Guests should keep their code, as we cannot recover it.
We do not verify claims, and we do not guarantee that any claimed gift is actually purchased, delivered, or exchanged. Questions about a claim are between the User and the guest.
Gift items link to third-party retailer websites that we do not own or control. Prices, availability, and product details shown on those sites may differ from what appears in your registry. Any purchase you make is made from the retailer under their terms, and the retailer — not Envision Registry — is responsible for that sale, including shipping, returns, and refunds.
You agree not to:
We work to keep the Service available, but we may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time. We may also set limits on features — for example, how many product link auto-fills an account can use per day.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Envision Registry is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
Set a liability cap with counsel (for example, fees paid in the preceding 12 months — noting the Service is currently offered free of charge).
You can stop using the Service and delete your registries at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. If you continue using the Service after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province of Alberta, and any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that province.
Confirm the governing jurisdiction and any entity/incorporation details before launch.
